At Gracecity, young people matter.
We believe in raising the next generation together—a partnership between whānau and the whole church.
We’re passionate about facilitating consistent, faith-building experiences for young people to grow in their relationship with God. That means championing parents in everyday discipleship, building connections across generations, and inviting young people into the heart of our church’s mission, vision, and values.
Through Gracecity Youth (High School) and Junior Youth (Intermediates & Year 9s), we offer spaces that are fun, faith-filled, and open—welcoming those exploring faith and challenging those already walking with Jesus. Our weekly gatherings, termly events, camps, and mission opportunities help young people see they’re part of something bigger.
Junior Youth
Junior Youth is often where faith starts to grow deeper and friendships grow stronger. Designed for intermediate-aged young people (and Year 9s at some locations), Junior Youth runs during our Sunday services and creates space to explore who God is and what following Jesus can look like in everyday life.
With games, teaching, small groups, and plenty of fun, it’s a space that’s both welcoming and meaningful—introducing faith to those who are new and building faith for those already on the journey.
Each location also runs socials and events throughout the year, designed to help young people connect with one another and feel part of something bigger.

Youth
Gracecity Youth is a safe, welcoming space where high schoolers can explore faith, build meaningful friendships, and connect with the wider church community.
Our weekly gatherings bring together young people from diverse backgrounds and schools, creating a supportive environment where every student can feel seen and valued. Whether your teen is just beginning to ask questions about faith or already walking with Jesus, they’ll find encouragement and genuine connection here.
Each evening includes time to connect socially, worship with a live band, hear relevant, Bible-based teaching, and engage in small groups led by caring, trusted leaders who prioritize the well-being and spiritual growth of every young person.
There’s no pressure or dress code—just an inviting place where teens can be themselves and grow in their faith.
