Becoming a Christian is about saying yes to a personal relationship with Jesus. It’s recognizing that you are loved by God and invited into His family. Here’s how you can respond to His invitation:

1. Recognize God’s Love for You
   God loves you more than you can imagine. He created you for a relationship with Him and has been pursuing you with His love.

2. Acknowledge the Gap
   We’ve all made choices that separate us from God, but He doesn’t leave us in that place. Through Jesus, He made a way for us to come close again.

3. Trust in Jesus’ Work on the Cross
   Jesus gave His life so that you could be forgiven and free. By trusting Him, you receive new life and the promise of being with Him forever.

4. Say Yes to Following Him
   Following Jesus means inviting Him into your life and allowing Him to guide your steps. It’s not about being perfect; it’s about trusting Him to lead you on a journey of transformation.

Here’s a simple prayer to begin your journey:
"Jesus, thank You for loving me. I acknowledge the ways I’ve fallen short and ask for Your forgiveness. I trust in what You did for me on the cross and invite You into my life. Help me to follow You each day. Amen."

Following Jesus isn’t a one-time decision—it’s a daily journey of saying yes to Him. As we grow in our faith, Jesus invites us to step into new things, trust Him in deeper ways, and join Him in the work of renewing people and places.
